The UK’s leading sealant and cosmetic repair specialist has been named as one of Aviva Premiership rugby club, London Welsh’s primary sponsors.
Chepstow-based SD Sealants and Cosmetic Repair won the right to have its branding on the Club’s shirt sleeve by entering London Welsh Sponsorship Club’s Raffle. The draw for which was made at the London Welsh Business Club networking lunch, where the guest speakers were Secretary of State for Wales, Stephen Crabb MP and former Wales and British & Irish Lions legend Martyn Williams.
London Welsh Chief Executive Mike Stevens said: “I am delighted to have SD Sealants branding on the playing kit, joining current kit sponsors Henmans Freeth, easycopiers, Rhino Teamwear, MSC Nutrition and Solar Communications. We are always looking to bring in new partners to the club and I am delighted these leading brands will be partnering with London Welsh.”
SD Sealants and Cosmetic Repairs is the UK’s leading sealant and cosmetic repair company, specialising in the supply and fit of sealants and mastics, as well as a full cosmetic repair service to the construction industry.
Nick Jones, Managing Director of SD Sealants and Cosmetic Repairs, said: “As the UK’s leading sealant specialist, it is an honour for SD to be associated with a well-renowned club like London Welsh.
“Our head office is in Chepstow but we do a lot of work in and around London and Oxford so the exposure that the business will get from being seen on the club’s shirts will be invaluable to us. We wish London Welsh the best of luck for the rest of the season and are behind them all the way.”
London Welsh’s new playing shirt had its first public airing at the club’s Aviva Premiership clash with Sale Sharks at the Kassam Stadium.
With a network of offices across the UK, SD Sealants and Cosmetic Repairs offers true national coverage by using a group of local sealant operatives to carry out specific projects. Their UK office expansion includes bases in Exeter, Wakefield, Fareham, Warrington, Bristol and Romford. They also completed the purchase of a Stourbridge-based mastic company earlier this year to further grow the brand in the Midlands.
