WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT ROLE WITH SD SEALANTS & COSMETIC REPAIRS?
I’m currently the Field Manager for our cosmetics repair team, based in the Bristol office.
WHEN DID YOU JOIN THE COMPANY?
I joined SD Sealants & Cosmetic Repairs in 2014.
WHY DID YOU JOIN SD?
When I saw that SD Sealants was launching a new cosmetic repairs service I decided to leave my previous job and be part of the new project. I had a lot of experience in the field and the job role with SD allows me to be strongly involved in building and developing the cosmetic repairs service. That challenge was something that really appealed to me so it was a no brainer to join the company.
WHAT ARE THE KEY ROLES OF YOUR JOB?
As a Field Manager it’s my job to travel to our clients UK-wide to repair surfaces for… well… just about anything! Glass, stone, bricks, doors, windows, cladding, ceramic tiles, kitchen units, metal work, the list could go on!
To carry out all the repair work I manage a team of five people , as well as reporting our progress to the cosmetics repair Contract Manager ,Tony Webb.
WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF YOUR JOB?
For me the most challenging aspect of my role is juggling all the different client contracts to make sure that everyone has the best possible service. The cosmetic repairs side of the business has really grown in a short space of time so there’s never a quiet day, which is a good thing!
WHAT IS THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?
The best thing about my job is working alongside my team. When you’re always on the road and meeting different clients it’s great to work with a really good group of people who you get on with. Another great thing about my job is being able to head up a really challenging and rewarding role in developing SD’s cosmetic repair service.
